The Toughbook CF-08 is a lightweight, ultra portable wireless display that can be used for peer to peer communications or it can be integrated into a multi client WLAN system – for instance, in large buildings or extensive factory sites.
The 10.4 inch XGA touchscreen is characterised by its extreme clarity and its pin sharp display thanks to the excellent contrast ratio. With a brightness of 460 cd/m2, the display is read easily, even in bright daylight conditions.
As a result of its impact-resistant magnesium casing, the robust display is protected against drops from up to 4 ft onto a concrete surface. A special seal also protects all ports against dust and water penetration. Even disinfectants can’t harm the CF-08 which is vital for use in a medical environment.
Due to its hand strap the 1.2 kg lightweight display is extremely easy to handle, and its high-performance rechargeable battery can last for up to 14 hours. The lack of internal storage is intentional – all data accessed via the CF-08 is transmitted from the host system for processing and storage. In this way, highly sensitive data is protected against loss or unauthorised access.
External devices can be connected via an integrated Bluetooth® module. For desktop applications, the Toughbook can be mounted in a docking station, available as an optional accessory.
